Fugglestone St Peter

Fugglestone St Peter seems to have been absorbed by the small town of Wilton (of carpet fame) which is about 3 miles west of Salisbury on the A36 Southampton to Bath road. However, there are still a few signs of its existence.

Alongside the A36 on the corner of the Wilton Roundabout is the church of St Peter’s, Fugglestone. On the opposite side of the road a few yards towards Salisbury is a road named Fugglestone which leads into a small estate of what I believe to be services homes (there is quite a military presence in the area).
